Dean Schwartz is the 10th Dean of the University of Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law. He previously served as Dean and Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. In January 2017, National Jurist Magazine named Dean Schwartz the 9th Most Influential Person in Legal Education, the third year in a row he has been ranked among the top 15 in the nation.

About this Blog

This blog is an effort to celebrate extraordinary innovations in legal education; most, but not all, of the innovations are ones that have been implemented during what all agree is a crisis in legal education. In blog entry, I will describe an innovation at a law school (other than an innovation at the law school where I work, University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law) and then share my views as to why the innovation is worth noting and even, perhaps, emulating.
